Hey there.
Thanks for coming by. Let me show you some photos.
This first one is me, Jones Blackflag, lounging on the deck next to the pool in The Shelter. One of my favorite places to be in Second Life. I've met some nice people there and they keep the jukebox fully stocked with some vintage 80s.
Actually, I've got another picture right underneath it, that is also me, just after I had found The Shelter, but before I had really learned much about changing my avatar's appearance. It figures that one of the first things I'd learn to do is go swimming.
It's been about a week now since I first logged in and I'm enjoying the experience overall. The only real drawback so far is that I'm in the wrong time zone to make the most of the chat and game features inherent in SL, which, of course, are the main reasons I like to log in in the first place. Oh well, maybe later this summer, when my hours change I'll be able to log in at more sociable hours. In the meantime, I'll keep sailing my boat and stopping by the Giant Chess Board, looking for opponents.
